Our Purpose: To visit the City Union Mission where homeless reside and provide meals, counseling, fellowship, worship and support.  We enlist every member to become a part of this ministry.  In Matthew 25:35-36, Jesus says “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  Naked, and ye clothed me:  I was sick, and ye visited me:  I was in prison, and ye came unto me.   

Meeting Dates: Every second and fourth Saturday of the month (Second Saturday at 7:00 pm, Fourth Saturday at 4:00 pm) 

Special Program: We have worship services at the Men's Center every 2nd Saturday of the month.  We provide a meal for the Men’s Center on the second Saturday in December feeding approximately 350 men.  We provide a meal for the family center every fourth Saturday feeding approximately 75 – 100 people.

Our Purpose: To present plays and drama that would encourage praise to God as well as present the message of the love and sacrifice of Christ.  We seek to  share the Gospel through the avenue of drama.  

Meeting Dates: Every 1st Saturday of the month from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm.  Every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Our Purpose: To go out into the world beginning with our very own community and share the good news of Jesus Christ.  We go door to door and pass out flyers concerning salvation, share verbally with those who would receive us and seek to invite our neighbors to join Christ and our fellowship.  In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says ” Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.

Our Purpose: To provide timely and relevant health information and programs to increase our local body’s knowledge and understanding about chronic diseases that disproportionately impact minority populations; educate about ways to adopt preventative health and incorporate healthy habits; to educate individuals and families about the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices by incorporating exercise and to better serve as a referral network to connect members and the community to health services and resources; to educate individual and families about better nutrition as it relates to food choices and preparation.

Our Health Matters Monthly Magazine

Our Purpose: To administer to the needs of the congregation in a non-medical manner and extend comfort and aid if someone becomes ill. We provide Kleenex, water, ice, band aids, and any other minor non-medical assistance as needed.

Our Purpose: Expressing love and encouragement as we seek to build relationships and promote Christian fellowship with the goal of spiritual growth within our new members, by way of Jesus Christ. The In-Touch Ministry will continue its mission and purpose to reach out and display that we are many members but one body in Christ. Hebrews 10:24-25, I Corinthians 12: 12, 14 and Romans 15:2, 5-6. We make ourselves available specifically to new members to encourage them to become an active member of the body

Our Purpose: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. – Proverbs 22:6 To train young people to serve in the ministry of usher and see to the needs of the congregation. Our Purpose: To visit the Correctional Facilities and minister to those that are incarcerated.  We currently visit the Juvenile Detention Center and have future plans to extend to adult prisions.  We provide worship service for those in prison and give those who have not received Christ, an opportunity to accept Him as Lord and Savior.  We seek to go to the uttermost part of the earth, including prisons.  We encourage every member to become a part of this ministry.  In Matthew 25:35-36, Jesus says “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:  I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  Naked, and ye clothed me:  I was sick, and ye visited me:  I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
